The Drama King or Queen is the ultimate attention-seeker. Needy like an only child, they’ll exaggerate an injury or illness to trick their owners into giving them more attention. They are highly vocal and will bark or meow to let you know they’re not okay.
In some cases, they’ll overreact to the point that it will cause an actual injury and make matters even worse. Some clever Drama Kings or Queens have figured out just how much attention they get when they are ‘sick’, and are known to fake illnesses which have led to plenty of unnecessary vet visits and exploratory tests to find that in fact, nothing is wrong.

Meet Drama Queen, Luna, who stood on a piece of dog biscuit and started running around energetically in a classic case of the zoomies. After this silly (and somewhat attention-seeking) episode, her right hind leg became lame so she was sedated for examination and an X-ray.
